Benny Young was born 14 August, 1949 in Glasgow. He is a Scottish actor who played D.S. Ted Hatchard in Boon, Brian Dunkley in Coronation Street, and he has been in The Bill, Between the Lines, Doctor Finlay, Playing the Field, Out of Africa, Chariots of Fire and Taggart.
