He is a British actor who played Bailey in The Bill, Sir Thomas Grey in Covington Cross, Gabriel Piton in Highlander, Jim Thorn in Silent Witness, Nigel Turrall in Holby City, Hugh Jackson in Foyle's War, Denny Davidson in Casualty, and he has also appeared in The Lion in Winter, Excalibur, Caravaggio, Edward II, Wycliffe, Far from the Madding Crowd, Troy, Cutting It, and Doctor Who.
