John Simm was born 10 July, 1970 in Leeds, West Yorkshire. He is an English actor who played Paul Jeffries in The Bill, Danny Kavanagh in The Lakes, Sam Tyler in Life on Mars and D.S Marcus Farrow in 2014's TV miniseries Prey.
