Emma rubbed a few people up the wrong way, but she had a good heart and the makings of an excellent copper. She was best friends with Sally, a fellow PC, and a relationship with Sergeant Stone had the potential for becoming more than just professional. However, her life and future was stolen from her on the 1st May 2008; she was involved in an evacuation that went wrong - she got everyone out, but at the last minute a terrorist bomb went off before she had the chance to escape. She was found by Sally and Sgt. Stone who desperately tried to resuscitate her, but to no avail.
