PC Millie Brown was a character in The Bill. She is keen but arrogant, and is constantly paired with fellow probationer Arun Ghir. It appears Millie has difficulty dealing with homeless people as in one episode, when Millie is supposed to interview "Christopher", a homeless man suspected to know what happened in a case.
When she sees that he is sleeping she decides not to interview him. Unfortunately, she is put in the deep end when she discovers he was actually unconscious from an assault, and was a major witness of the case and it almost costs her job. However, PC Sally Armstrong takes the blame and claims it was her job to interview her. Millie is entirely grateful for this and she and Sally form an even stronger bond. She was kidnapped by armed robbers in mid 2009. She left Sun Hill at Christmas 2009, but it is unknown whether she transferred, resigned or got promoted.
