Les Dennis, born 12 October, 1953 in Liverpool, Merseyside. He is a British actor, comedian and television presenter who has been in The Bill. He has also appeared in;

Les Dennis presented the UK version of quiz show Family Fortunes from 1987 until 2002, and he did comedy with Lisa Maxwell before she appeared in The Bill. Ironically, Maxwell's character Samantha Nixon arrested Dennis' character in his appearance in Episode 436.

He is previously married to Amanda Holden from 1995 to 2003.
