Dean McVerry arrived at Sun Hill in September 2003, becoming the station's latest CAD officer. Unlike his predecessors, Dean was confined to CAD as he was in a wheelchair, and was unable to carry out normal police duties. Dean served at Sun Hill for nearly three years, and was very popular amongst fellow officers and colleagues. He decided to resign in February 2006
